Installation of the new sewer pipe.

Construction is nearing completion on a new 36-inch parallel sewer pipe alongside the existing 33-inch D-Line Sewer Interceptor near Mineral Avenue and Santa Fe Drive. This upgrade will improve system reliability and accommodate future growth in the area.

This project is fully funded by the developers of the new developments south of Mineral Avenue and Santa Fe Drive, ensuring that these infrastructure improvements come at no additional cost to existing customers.

As of March 2, installation is approximately 90% complete. During construction, the Mary Carter Greenway Trail was successfully bypassed, and site restoration is now underway on the north end of the project.

Installation of a new 5′ manhole is pictured below.

Two workers in safety gear are seen installing large green pipes in a construction site, with a metal grid frame nearby.
