The City of Littleton is considering a new rate structure for sewer and stormwater services as part of its 2027 budget process. If approved, the new rates are expected to take effect in early 2027.

The rate study is evaluating how sewer and stormwater services are funded and how rates should be structured for residential, multifamily and commercial customers. Littleton anticipates more than $328 million in sewer and stormwater infrastructure investments over the next 10 years to address aging infrastructure, reduce flooding risks, meet regulatory requirements and maintain reliable service.

As a district customer, you receive sewer service that connects to Littleton’s system, and any rate changes may affect your utility bill.

The City is also considering changes to billing frequency and tap fee calculations. Customers can provide input through the City's Utility Billing Frequency Preference Survey through October 5.
