The District office will be closed on Thursday, January 1st for New Year’s Day.

Christmas Tree Recycling 2025–2026
The City of Littleton, in partnership with South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPRD) and A1 Organics, will offer Christmas tree recycling from December 29, 2025 through January 23, 2026. Note: Cornerstone Park is no longer a drop-off site for Christmas trees.

Fees and Donation
- $5 per tree, per visit
- A1 Organics will donate $1 from each tree to a local nonprofit organization
- Normal tipping rate: $16 per cubic yard ($32 minimum charge)
Payment and Residency
- Proof of residency required (driver’s license or utility bill)
- Payment: Credit card or cash only (no personal checks)
Accepted Items
- Natural, clean trees only
- Not accepted: tinsel, ornaments, lights, paint, artificial trees, stands, bags, or trash
- Fee covers composting — trees are recycled into finished compost, not mulch
- Other yard waste (limbs, branches, grass, soil, etc.) charged at normal gate rate
